My name is Demi, and I’m the owner and nail technician behind Lace and Dagger Nail Studio. I’m a 27‑year‑old artist from Northwich with a lifelong passion for creativity, fashion, and self‑expression. After becoming disabled and unable to work in traditional employment, I made it my mission to build a business I truly love—one that allows me to create without compromising my health.
Through my own experiences, I recognised a gap in the local nail industry. Many people felt overlooked by typical salon environments: those who prefer a more relaxed setting, those who can’t justify high salon prices, and those with alternative styles or lifestyles who rarely see themselves represented. Lace and Dagger was created to change that. If you’ve ever felt like you couldn’t have the nails you want, we’re here to show you that you absolutely can.
Lace and Dagger is a home‑based private studio located just a short walk from the local train station and town centre. While nail enhancements have grown massively in popularity, many local salons still offer limited services—often focusing solely on builder gel. We’re here to expand those options.
We specialise in nail artistry and offer a wide range of in‑studio services, including gel polish, builder gel, hard gel, acrylic, and fully custom press‑on nails. This variety allows us to stay true to our ethos: nails for all.
A major issue within the nail industry is its focus on a narrow group of clients—those who have the time, money, and ability to visit a salon every 3–4 weeks. We believe everyone deserves access to beautiful, expressive nails, regardless of lifestyle, budget, or personal style. By offering both in‑studio services and salon‑quality press‑ons (available for collection or delivery), we’re opening the door to a wider audience and making nail enhancements more accessible than ever.
